// 2020 Season

A COVID-19 disrupted season that for a few months looked likely to not go ahead at all! Once the action got going though, it turned out to be the most successful season yet.

With a reduced calendar, and less than half the races of 2019, the intensity of the 2020 season was greater than ever, with 1 podium at Silverstone being the source of silverware for the year, finishing 0.084 away from the 1st win.

Several fastest laps at Cadwell Park and Silverstone highlighted the potential in the car with DNF's and set backs at Donington putting any hopes of a top 5 championship position to bed.

Jack finished the season 7th in the standings out of 75 drivers.

// 2021 Season

With the planned first round of the season cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, it looked as though 2021 would be another year of struggling in within a pandemic, but thankfully that was not the case!

2021 started 1 month later than planned at Croft, a circuit Jack had never visited, however, the circuit clearly suited Jack, taking Pole Position and ALL 3 Race wins!!!

Silverstone took a turn for the worse despite being on pole with a lap record, Jack was taken out of 2/3 races and a set up gamble for the 3rd race didn't pay off, making it a weekend to forget. But after that the results and lap records kept tumbling, with  wins at Anglesey and Snetterton and a hat trick of podiums at Cadwell.

Leading the championship going into the final two rounds unfortunately Jack was taken out of the lead at Donington controversially and then was again involved in unavoidable incidents at Brands Hatch to finish the year in 2nd place despite having lead and been consistently fastest all season .

// About Jack Brewer - British Racing Driver

Jack’s background in sport started at an early age, before racing in cars he was a national level swimmer.  He has competed in the BRSCC Mazda Mx-5 championship since 2016, having completed 4 full seasons of racing in total, 2022 will see Jack take on a new challenge to further enhance his driving abilities across a range of different cars.

Away from the track Jack is an Automotive Engineer, currently working for Jaguar Land Rover.  Jack also works with a number of motorsport experience companies including Silverstone Circuit, Want2Race and Ice Driver.

// 2019 Season

2019 marked the first full season in the BRSCC Mazda Mx-5 championship since 2016.

After using 2018 to build confidence in the car, 2019 would be the 1st real push to establish progress made with the car since the 2017 re-build was complete.

Following transportation issues for Round 1, the next 3 rounds would be a steady progression until a run of 4 podiums that started at Anglesey and was maintained throughout the entire Snetterton race weekend. Even after effectively missing 2 round of the season due to misfortune and transportation reliability issues, Jack still finished the season inside the top 10.

// 2018 Season

The 2018 season saw Jack contest in 4 rounds of the BRSCC championship.

After the 2016 season, the car was refreshed and rebuild ready to compete in the second half of the 2018 season. Entering Oulton Park was a massive unknown with no testing before the weekend, the rest of the season would become a rehearsal for the 2019 season with top 10 performances at Oulton, Silverstone, Rockingham and Donington Park.

// 2016 Season

Jack’s rookie season in 2016 saw him achieve several top 10 positions and a race win at Brands Hatch, enjoying strong performances especially in wet weather conditions.
