Round 6 Donington Park: 5th time lucky? Is that a thing?

Its safe to say, although Donington is my local, its never exactly been kind to me, in fact I think the only time I have finished all of the races there was on my first visit in 2016.

This year has been a very different year to any other year though, and after Cadwell, where although I didn't get a victory, 3 fastest laps and 2 second place finishes leaves me with a lot of optimism that this year could be the year to finally pick up some solid results at Donington.

For the second time, we will be racing on the Donington GP circuit, with the last time we used the full circuit being back in 2019, adding the challenge of the Melbourne loop always adds to the on track action, and the way the season has been going, qualifying on Saturday morning will be incredibly close.

Going into the end of the season and Autumn, the weather is likely to play a massive part throughout the remainder of the final 6 races, and with a very slender lead in the championship and the changes to the dropped score rules for the last round of the season, everything is to play for.

All of the action will be spread evenly across the weekend, with Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, Race 2 & 3 on Sunday, shown live on the BRSCC YouTube page, and live timing on TSL via the links below:

Saturday:

Qualifying: 10:20

Race 1: 15:55

Sunday:

Race 2: 10:05

Race 3: 15:30

See you on the other side...

Jack
