Round 5 Cadwell: The Mini Nurburgring

While Cadwell isn't quite the 20km monster challenge that the Nurburgring is, the nickname is well deserved, with massive elevation changes, relentless medium to high speed sections, and very little margin for error, it is famous for being one of, if not the most challenging circuit in the UK.

This will be my 3rd time racing at Cadwell, and whilst 2019 wasn't an ideal race weekend, having not been to the circuit before and having very limited testing time, 2020 ended up being a far more positive and solid opening round to the COVID hit season with 2 4th place finishes and challenging for the podium in both races.

This season we return to Cadwell with 3 races, and thankfully back to the usual format of Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, followed by Race 2 and 3 on Sunday, and after miraculously having 3 dry races at Snetterton, it lookalike we are in for more of the same at Cadwell.

Passing through Hall bends is always one of the most satisfying driving experiences

All of the action for the weekend will be streamed via the BRSCC youtube channel and live timing on TSL via the links below alongside the timetable for the weekend:

Qualifying is at 11:55 on Saturday followed by Race 1 at 16:05, with Race 2 and 3 at 13:10 & 17:30 on Sunday.

See you on the other side...
