2025 Miata Trophy Round 5 Oulton Park Preview: The Half Way Point!

Its always a surprise when the half way point of the season comes, and well technically we are fully into the 2nd half of the season when we get to Oulton Park for testing on the 8th!
The beginning 4 rounds have been probably the biggest learning experience I have had in cars since my first season racing, and although we are constantly changing a moving goal post, the overall performance of the car is improving and it feels like with the team we are seeing huge benefits since the start of the year.
Between Donington Park and Oulton Park we have been looking to try and understand a bit more about where we are losing out in terms of time, but one of the key things I need to make sure I do is get a clean Qualifying this weekend to actually show the pace I think we have. Mistakes at both Brands Hatch and Donington have made the rest of the weekend an uphill struggle to get back towards the front.
For the upcoming weekend we have a very important open pit-lane test day on the Friday before Qualifying and both Races in a frantic Saturday!

Qualifying: 09:45 - 10:00
Race 1: 12:20 - 12:40
Race 2: 15:05 - 15:25

I feel ready and the car is definitely ready in whats been a tight turn around between race weekends!
