2025 Miata Trophy Round 4 Donington Park GP Preview: The Grand Prix Grand Slam Finale!

We Are Back!
Even more importantly, its home circuit time! I feel like over the past year I have spent a large part of my life at Donington Park, but not all of it motorsport related with a cheeky trip to Download Festival during the summer break! Whether it be in Mazda's, Caterhams or even a very random few laps in a Suzuki Swift, its always an absolute pleasure to turn a few laps at my local!
Round 4 of the MSVT Racing Miata Trophy also concludes the Grand Prix Grand Slam with the final 2 races on the full Grand Prix circuit at Donington Park set to be as competitive as ever. With the circuit known for its high speed slipstreaming and technical final sector, we are set for a day of frantic Mx5 racing.
Following Brands Hatch we took a little bit of time to go through where we needed to improve the car for Donington Park, with the balance of the car seeming to be very sensitive through the weekend and having a lot of oversteer issues overall through the Saturday race day.
With some questions left unanswered we managed to sneak in to Donington Park for a cheeky track day post Brands Hatch to see if we could get the car to behave, and throughout the day we managed to find a good overall balance as we start to hopefully get on top of the Davanti tyres!
All that being said we are set up for the weekend with a test day back to being on the Friday as normal with the racing taking place all on the Saturday which will be fully live streamed via the links below:
